Board Nominees 2024
The Western Australian Information Technology and Telecommunications Alliance (WAITTA) has four (4) open positions for Board Director, each with a two-year term. Below are the nominees put forth for members' consideration in the upcoming election at this year's Annual General Meeting.
Bobby Cureton
Bobby has a passion for improving our lives through the effective use of technology, which he’s used to completely reimagine distance education, improve the efficiency and safety of mining operations, and to significantly improve critical communications for emergency services during major incidents.
Cameron Zivkovic
In his current role, Cameron is the manager of a professional services business where his team work with collaboratively with clients across WA to deliver high quality outcomes. Cameron enjoys problem solving and crafting solutions and approaches for clients that meet their needs and have high impact.
In 2019, Cameron was one of the winners in the ARN 30 Under 30 Tech Awards, which recognises emerging leaders that have made an impact in the tech industry.
Con Polkinghorne
Currently, he leads NEC's Digital Government practice, where he focuses on driving innovation and digital transformation within the public sector. For the past two years, Con has been a dedicated board member of WAITTA and serves as the Board lead for the prestigious INCITE Awards, promoting excellence in the IT industry.
Nathan Cole
Nathan co-founded Blak Digital in 2022 with the mission of empowering the world’s oldest living culture and businesses with cutting-edge technology and digital literacy.
Wayne Skeggs
With over two decades in IT and technology management, Wayne is keen to contribute to WAITTA's mission of promoting the WA ICT industry through innovation and excellence.
Wayne has over 21 years of experience in the IT sector at Chevron Oil and Gas, that has catalyzed numerous change and
transformation programs, including cloud adoption, data management, international process improvement, and digital transformation.
Currently, Wayne is bringing his digital knowledge and passion for using IT to make people lives easier to St Johns Ambulance, being a change agent in an organization that delivers services to the community.
