As a not-for-profit incorporated organisation, the Board is responsible for governing WAITTA's three annual programs, brokering partnerships to unlock value in the region's economy, facilitate future-focused collaboration across sectors, and connect community so talent thrives.

Con has over 20+ years’ experience as a management consultant working across Asia Pacific in industries ranging from healthcare, mining and resources, oil and gas, government, software development and not for profit.
Con works at NEC as a national leader in the company's Business and Technology Advisory team. He provides organisations with operational and digital strategic thinking aligning technology investments with the corporate strategy. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business and is a past member of the AIB Operations & Supply Chain Strategy Industry Panel.
Con was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in May 2022 and has undertaken the role of INCITE Awards Chair since October 2022. He was appointed President in July 2024. Con also Chairs WAITTA's Volunteer, Recruitment, Youth and Diversity Committee.

Premila's illustrious career spans over two decades, marked by her exceptional expertise in steering digital transformation, nurturing product development, and inspiring creative teams. Her impressive track record is a testament to her proficiency in deploying data-driven strategies that amplify creative communications, elevate branding, and drive product innovation, all while optimising ROI through digital advancements. Notably, her adaptability shines across a diverse array of industries, encompassing finance, oil and gas, mining, government, and nonprofit sectors, across regions, from the UK and Europe to the Americas, Africa, and Australia.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Premila's profound commitment to community service and empowerment shines through her role as a judge for the INCITE and Game Changer Awards. This commitment has taken a more significant stride as she has embraced a new role on the WAITTA board.
Premila's passion for empowering women and children is evident in her active involvement in mentorship and volunteer work. She has dedicated her guidance and support to organisations like STEM Mentor, Alyceum Diverse Women Leadership Program, Make a Difference Aspire Foundation, and the ABCN program, offering her time and expertise to uplift individuals from underprivileged socioeconomic backgrounds, establishing her as a valuable asset in initiatives dedicated to fostering positive change and transformation.
Premila was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in September 2023 and appointed Vice President in July 2024. She is also the Chair of the Game Changer Awards committee.

Gavin’s working career includes over 45 years in the Western Australian public sector with extensive experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), delivering services and outcomes across various government departments encompassing transformation of online services to the community while increasing organisational effectiveness. Gavin is a senior member of the Australian Computer Society and has a Master of Business Systems.
With over 20 years of experience in senior leadership and executive capacity including his previous Director (Chief Information Officer) roles, Gavin’s responsibilities include team leadership along with strategy development and implementation plus program, budget, risk and change management. He is a positive and inclusive leader with a strong focus on developing and supporting his team.
Continuous learning and empowering others to support positive change for the benefit of clients and stakeholders is a key motivator for Gavin.
Gavin was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in October 2021 and has undertaken the WAITTA Secretary role since February 2023.

Peter has over 35 years’ experience leading the delivery of large, complex enterprise software integration and implementation projects in asset-intensive industries including mining, oil & gas, energy & utilities, and rail. His experience spans operational technology and information technology.
Peter has qualifications including Engineering (BE), an MBA, and a Doctor of Business Administration in Information Systems (coursework).
Peter was appointed to the WAITTA Board in August 2023 and has undertaken the WAITTA Treasurer role since August 2023. He is also the Chair of WAITTA's Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.

Jess has more than 15 years' experience in the media and communications industry, with the last five years in her adopted home of Perth–Whadjuk Country.
Originally from Aotearoa–New Zealand, Jess has led marketing and communications for some of Australasia's largest institutions. As a former journalist, Jess has reported on new and emerging technologies, and both national and local politics. In public relations, she has led technology and finance communications portfolios in both public and private sector organisations, delivering integrated marketing and communications strategies for large IT transformation projects, transitions and commercial deals.
Jess has been featured as a speaker and MC at industry events, and has appeared in national media for her expertise on the intersection of traditional news media and social media. She holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from New Zealand's AUT, and is an Accredited First Nations Ally through Evolve Communities.
As an award-winning LGBTQIA+ professional, Jess is well-known for her inclusive and equitable approach to communications. Her achievements were recognised at the 2022 Women in Technology WA Tech [+] Awards where she won the Rising Star Award in the Sales, Marketing and Business Support category.
Jess joined the WAITTA Board in March 2024 and is the Chair of WAITTA's Marketing, Digital and Communications Committee.

Cameron has over 14 years of experience in the IT industry, with more than a decade in leading and delivering transformational IT projects to organisations across Australia. His career has been dedicated to professional services, where he has delivered outcomes for clients in mining, education and the public sector.
In his current role, Cameron is the manager of a professional services business, where his team works collaboratively with clients across WA to deliver high-quality outcomes. He enjoys problem-solving and designing solutions that meet client needs and drive meaningful impact.
In 2019, Cameron was recognised as one of the winners in the ARN 30 Under 30 Tech Awards, celebrating emerging leaders making a significant impact in the tech industry.
Cameron was appointed to the WAITTA Board in July 2024.

Adjunct Professor Anita Ghose is Founder and Chief Executive of inventiveX, a boutique global consultancy of healthcare and human services transformation specialists. A previous Health Partner and National Lead Partner Aged Care in a global professional services firm, she brings a wealth of experience and deep understanding of the health and technology sectors with longstanding global networks and alliances. A clinician by background with C-suite industry experience, she has worked for more than 25 years across government, industry and not-for-profit sectors, overseeing complex transformation in healthcare and human services, in Australia and internationally.
Her expertise spans large-scale digital transformation that is clinician led and human centred. A recognised strategic advisor and delivery specialist, she is an innovator, disruptor, operations and digital delivery transformation specialist. Anita works in areas of strategy, governance, workforce optimisation, innovative care models, data, AI and performance improvement. She supports clients to execute complex transformational change within challenging environments and establish foundations for future state sustainable growth and success, also leading forums and thought leadership on the future of care.
Ms Ghose has been a trusted advisor to federal and state governments on healthcare, aged care and care for vulnerable Australians, holding board roles across aged care, disability and health foundations. She continues to serve as Adjunct Professor with Curtin University’s School of Allied Health, and is on the Curtin University School of Allied Health Advisory Board with an industry focus on innovation, digitisation and the future of care. Anita also chairs the Health Policy Advisory Network for the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) in WA.
Passionate about supporting the growth and acceleration of digital transformation and global recognition of WA’s talent across science, data and technology, she is committed to creating more opportunities for young Western Australians to thrive in the technology and innovation professions.
