Thumtronics Ltd is a public, unlisted company that is developing the worlds newest electronic musical instrument based on the concepts of isomorphism and isomorphic solfa.
The Company has been developing the Thummer brand Jammer for the past two years and is currently on the fourth round of prototypes. The design and development has proven to be very challenging as the Company has required the services of dedicated and committed musicians.
The Thummer brand Jammer claims to be more expressive and easier to learn than other musical instruments. It has 114 pressure sensitive buttons which allow for a great deal of expression. The keyboard layout is isomorphic which means that any given musical structure - an interval, scale, chord, or even and entire song - is the same in every key.
Designed and developed in Busselton, the Thummer brand Jammer is undergoing the final development iterations before being ready for global commercial release in the final quarter of 2006. |
