Connect South West delivers innovative and essential ICT services to the South West community of Western Australia. It has a holistic approach to ICT services and assists people to commence using services through offering a basic computer course called Basic Bytes. Offering solutions to business including free, impartial ICT advice and training, low cost low risk e-commerce opportunities and delivering access to broadband services.

They also assist communities by offering each small local community a mytown web portal, community group free web sites and e-commerce opportunities for large community events.

Connect South West offers the South West of Western Australia a unique service that encourages and equips the community to embrace technology, this service includes;
 E-commerce training service
 Integration of South West technology initiatives
 Community and business web portal www.mysouthwest.com.au
 Free and impartial business technology advisory service
 Awareness campaigns
 Basic Bytes computer training for seniors
 Broadband aggregation project.

The project addresses the needs of the community from both a strategic and grass roots perspective.

Working with businesses on a one on one basis to identify how technology could assist their business and offering advice to allow small business owners to be in a position to make informed decisions regarding technology and conducting basic computer training for seniors as well as introduction to e-commerce information sessions assists people on the ground to understand what technology can do for them.

Projects such as the broadband broker program operates in a far more strategic manner, working with communities to identify demand for broadband, then working with wireless broadband solution providers, identifying infrastructure or locations to develop new infrastructure to roll out new services. This allows for a strategic roll out of new infrastructure and ensures delivery of services to the community.

The www.mysouthwest.com.au web portal also allows for strategic solutions for the community. If allows community groups to have free, easy to use web sites and allows businesses to access low cost/low risk web sites and e-commerce opportunities.
