Council On The Ageing (WA) Inc is a charitable, non-profit, benevolent organisation. Its mission is to protect and promote the wellbeing of all older Western Australians. Within this context, it started a Seniors Technology Centre nine years ago to bring people of 50+ into the technology era. Courses are conducted in a stress-free environment and one which promotes the self-esteem of the students.
An independent organisation run by older people for older people, COTA(WA) has over 4,500 individual supporters and approximately 160 organisational members themselves representing over 200,000 individuals.
