Health Corporate Network (HCN) is a Shared Services centre for WA Health consisting of more than 600 staff providing corporate (non-medical) services. It was established as part of a Whole of Government initiative to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate services within WA Health.
The primary focus for HCN is on Finance, Human Resources, Supply, Business Systems and Reporting functions, involving a significant investment in state-of-the-art corporate software systems and the re-engineering and design of processes. This initiative will streamline the delivery of high quality corporate services to WA Health.
This application revolves around the process of developing, implementing, maintaining, supporting and administering an electronic staff rostering system that manages the deployment of staff and interfaces with a HR/Payroll system to drive employee payment. Specifically the roll out of RoStar to the Western Australian Country Health Service (WACHS). |
